The VSH 150 Vibratory Roller is a self - propelled compacting machine with two vibratory smooth steel driven drums. Each drum is mounted in an independent frame. Both frames are interconnected by means of a joint. The machine and the vibrator are driven hydrostatically. Steering is hydraulic. The drums are turned to each otrher by means of two double - acting hydraulic cylinders. Each drum is fitted with a parking and an emergency brake braking automatically if the engine stops or in case of a hydrodrive damage. The drums are cleaned by means of adjustable scrapers and are sprinkled by means of pressure-water. The air conditioned cabin is fitted with double steering. A disk brake, fitted between the engine and pump-box makes the start at low temperatures more comfortable. The machine is designed for the compaction of bituminous layers and cementedf and stabilized soils up to a thickness of 300 mm as well as for the compaction of loose and semicohesive soils up to a thickness of 1000 mm.
